What People Are Saying

“ Best $100 I ever spent. The course gave me easy to remember steps and skills to deal with difficult interpersonal situations. I wish I’d learned this technique decades ago as I would have made a huge difference in a few of my more challenging relationships”.

"The past three weeks have ushered in a new normal in our family dynamics that is exactly what we have always hoped for. We are very grateful to see how our son is growing in his self-control, patience, flexibility and just general awareness of others. I know that once you encouraged him to volunteer to help around the house. Well since then, he has volunteered every single Saturday. At some point during this week, he and I were having a casual conversation in which he said: “ Mama, for the past 3 years I’ve been so selfish.” I asked for clarification, and he explained that in his opinion it was partly due to parenting and partly due to his own attitude. He considers that in the past 2 months he has changed for the best. I tried not to show it, but my jaw dropped. This level of insightfulness and self-awareness gives me hope that these changes can be long-lasting. Then this week his teacher sent a message, letting parents known that she wouldn’t be meeting all parents but only those whose kids have concerns that need addressing.  I must admit, when I recalled the two painful meetings I had with his teacher and Principal in his first month at school, I had a small amount of trepidation. I am happy to say that he didn’t make the list. Things are not entirely perfect, we do have occasional setbacks but the changes we’ve seen in the past weeks are teaching me to look forward to our family relationship being tight-knit, peaceful and fun. Thanks for helping."

"The Nonflict way of conflict resolution provided me with easy to remember tools and 3 easy steps to work through communication issues, on all levels.  Throughout the workshop I became more aware of my individual communication style and why it might or might not work with others.

"Since participating in the Nonflict Workshop I’ve learned how to really listen to my husband and children and to change my perspective in how I approach a conflict. I’ve also been able to share these tools with my family and we are learning how to put what we have learned into practice."
